Marco Prina is a Doctoral Candidate in Italian and Medieval Studies at UC Berkeley. His fields of interest include allegory and hermeneutics in the Middle Ages, early vernacular Italian literature, and the epic and chivalric tradition, especially insofar as it depicts clashes and points of contact between cultures. His approach is interdisciplinary and takes into account literature, art, and history within the cultural context.
